Child development support in Tokyo,
ward by ward

The certificate that lets your child use child development support is issued by the ward where your child is registered as a resident — and it can be used at our classroom in Waseda whichever ward you live in. Choose your ward for the offices you will deal with: the certificate counter, the developmental consultation, the school-entry consultation and the foreign-resident help desk, each with the official page it comes from.

CHOOSE YOUR WARD

Tokyo's 23 wards

Live outside the 23 wards (Musashino, Mitaka, Chōfu and the rest of Tokyo, or a neighbouring prefecture)? The same system applies: apply at your city's disability welfare division. Tell us where you live and we will point you to the right counter.

Start with a visit.

You do not need a diagnosis, a certificate, or fluent Japanese to take the first step. Send us a message in English, tell us your child's age, where you live and what you are noticing, and we will take it from there.
